This abstract acrylic painting has approximately nine layers of paint. You can see a lot of density and texture in this painting which really makes the subject lift up off the canvas.

You may notice how this lady is somewhat cool and confident, which is quite appealing. I have used quite a lot of blue to symbolise her inner character, yet also a lot of red to represent a fire that burns inside her - despite being the cool character we see on the surface. 

Although it was not my original intention, after this paintings completion I began to notice how intriguing she really is to look at.
