The great thing
about abstract art flowers is the dynamics it gives to a wall.
In no way do I mean to boast, but the size, colour and depth
of the painting below has an amazing impact on a large
wall.
Although the
stalks in the painting below do not represent any type of
plant or flower - as the top of the stalks look more like
lollies than flowers - this is the beauty of working with
abstract to produce impact rather than reality.
In this painting I have painted
a fresh khaki yellow background to really bring out the impact
of the stalks heads. The combination of blue and violet really
stands out against a mellow khaki backdrop - with a rich burnt
umber earth in the lower part of the foreground.
