Abstract music
art is one of my most passionate subjects to work
with. In most cases I like to produce my music paintings on
large canvas...purely because it gives me room to work with, but
most importantly it offers so much more impact once the
painting has been hung on the wall.
As with the
principals of being a painting artist...a musical artist lives
for the journey of writing, performing and simply being heard.
Being a musician myself I know that the biggest buzz is that
exchange of energy between yourself and your audience.
I work hard at
trying to provide that same type of exchange of energy in my
paintings...because I don't think its always about the
artist...I think it's the artists' ability to build a means for
the audience to associate themselves to the work that makes a piece
of art all the more powerful and appealing.
