Malcolm actually only started painting in April of 2009. It was around that time that he stumbled onto my CAKUart website and subsequently became a devoted subscriber to my Anatomy of An Artist Newsletter.
Although Malcolm has no formal training as an artist whatsoever, he told me that thanks to my CAKUart website content and the coaching he receives from my newsletters that his persistence grew and he has since began to produce some great results.
And what does Malcolm think of the CAKUart Anatomy of An Artist Newsletter?
"It encourages me to keep working at it… to take a deeper look at what's inside the individual. It's important for individual artists to know who they are…we tend to be "hide behind the tree" people, but we have a lot to offer the world…"
"I
have been dragging my feet about getting back into my art for
too long. Carl thank you for your No BS answers to my
frustrations. I have to admit I didn't really expect to hear
anything when I filled out the survey, but when I got a personal
letter from you I was blown away. Thanks again"
"Thank you so much for your personal
reply. EVERYTHING you said really struck a chord and I guess on some level I already knew all the answers. You have motivated me beyond anything I have ever read, been told or taught
before..." "Your
advice has been very good... especially the part about vision
and practice"
"Carl, Thank you
for that thoughtful reply. I printed it out and at first look I
didn't see that it was a personal response. That was the most
direct honest wise interpretation of my dilemma that I have ever
had the pleasure of reading..."
"What you said
has really got me excited. Thanks so much for the reply (and at
4 in the morning too!) I am really going to work hard at
starting where I left off so long ago..."
