Art Website Hosting

When it comes to art website hosting, I really only recommend two services. It's not that I don't think the rest are any good.

There are plenty of very reliable hosting services available. It's just that I know and trust SBI and Hostgator.

Art Website Hosting with Site Built It!

Site Build It! If you are really serious about building a site for business longevity, I highly recommend that you consider taking a look at Site Build It! (SBI)

SBI is the perfect resource for the newbie who needs to tackle the whole aspect of marketing their business on the internet.

With SBI you can build your site, register your domain, host your site, research your market, develop and structure your site specifically for the search engines, and drive traffic all from one interface.

SBI is an incredibly reliable hosting platform with a fantastic support network who will be there for you every step of the way.

The SBI forum is simply too BIG to put into words - it truly has been an amazing resource for myself, in putting my own site together.

You can even build your own store with SBI as it provides all the necessary ecommerce tools.

If building a site is not for you then you can always consider getting one of SBI's certified webmasters to build your site for you.

Site Build It! is the BEST all-in-one site building platform on the market. You only need to compare Site Build It's features with the rest to see that it is a clear winner.

If you don't really have a lot of time to go through SBI's complete list of features and benefits, at least consider taking the quick tour to get familiar with what makes Site Build It! such a powerful business tool.

Am I a little partial to SBI? Well, yeah… but that's because this very site... the one you are visiting right now...has been built using SBI. So I kinda know it works (wink).

Host Your WordPress Blog with HostGator

If you are looking for a simple, easy and cost effective way to showcase your art online, then setting up a blog can be a great alternative.

One of the most reliable and effective blog resources is Wordpress.org

While Wordpress provides a free hosting facility, I highly recommend that you buy your own domain and pay for some art website hosting through Hostgator.

The security and control you have over your own domain and blog makes it so much more worthwhile.

Wordpress is very powerful and runs from a mySQL database, which means it is very quick.

I recommend you host your Wordpress blog with Hostgator because…

  • HostGator is one of the world's top 10 largest web hosting companies.

  • It provides solid 24/7 support.

  • Provides you with the option of building your own site and the choice of over 4,500 templates.

  • Hostgator offers Fantastico-enabled cPanel hosting, which allows you to install over 50 scripts (example: wordpress blog script, shopping cart etc)

  • Every web hosting plan comes with a 45 day money back guarantee.

If installing a blog is something you are not familiar with, then I highly recommend you take a look at Yaro and Gideon's video tutorial guide. It's free, very informative and easy to follow.

The important thing is to make the right decision about your art website hosting and then take the necessary action to get your site or art blog up and running. Just remember; "content is king".
